Description
The Pisgah Covered Bridge is remarkable as it is, but I clean a little graffiti off while editing this photo. The historic 54 foot Pisgah Covered Bridge crosses the West Fork Branch of the Little River in the Uwharrie National Forest near Asheboro, NC. Built at a cost of $40 in 1911, provided river crossing when horse and wagon was the common mode of transportation.

Donna, this is a wonderful photo and I loved reading the history of this covered bridge. We live in North Carolina and I didn't even know about this. Congratulations on your feature!!
